KL University added another feather to its hat, with six of its faculty members from Vijayawada and Hyderabad campuses being recognized at the Bharat Education Excellence Awards (BEEA) 2025. They were awarded for their exceptional contributions to teaching, research, and innovation. The ceremony, organized by Brain O Vision and hosted at T-Hub, Hyderabad, celebrates educators who are redefining the future of learning across the country.
From the Vijayawada campus, Mr. P. Sai Vijay, Director of the Student Activity Centre (SAC), received the Ananta Acharya Award for championing experiential learning through social internships, village development programs, and SDG-focused community projects that help students learn by doing.
Dr. K. Amarendra, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was honored with the Jyesta Acharya Award, presented by Dr. Buddha Chandra Sekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE, for his leadership in advancing computer science education and impactful academic research.
Two young faculty members, Dr. S. Shiva Kumar from the Department of Commerce and Dr. G. Sateesh from the Department of CS&IT, each received the Yuva Acharya Award for their innovative teaching practices and dedication to guiding students in applying classroom learning to real-world challenges.
From KLU’s Hyderabad campuses, Dr. Anand Bethapudi, Dean of KLH Global Business School (Kondapur Campus), and Dr. Ramakrishna Akella, Principal of KLH Aziznagar Campus, were recognized with the Bheeshma Acharya Award for visionary leadership and fostering a research-driven academic environment.
